The Outcome
The project ran four days: Day 1 for power washing and conditioning, Day 2 for the first coat of Agreeable Gray on all siding, Day 3 for the second coat plus trim work, and Day 4 for doors, shutters, and detail work. Weather cooperated - we had four consecutive dry days with temperatures above 15°C, ideal conditions for exterior paint adhesion.
The finished home looks as though it belongs to a new subdivision - the greige/white/black combination is one of the most popular exterior palettes in the GTA right now for good reason. It photographs beautifully, holds its colour for 8-10 years with Sherwin-Williams Duration, and dramatically increased the home's street presence and perceived value. Three neighbours asked for our card before we'd packed up the ladders.
