Interior painting in Mississauga costs $300-$900 per room, matching Toronto market rates. We serve all Mississauga neighbourhoods - Port Credit, Erin Mills, Cooksville, Meadowvale, Streetsville, and the Square One condo corridor.
Mississauga is our second-busiest market after Toronto. We paint everything from 1970s detached homes in Cooksville to brand-new condos in the City Centre, and the renovations market here is as active as anywhere in the GTA.
If you're looking for interior painters in Mississauga, here's everything you need to know: what it costs, what the process looks like, what Mississauga's homes specifically need, and how to get a quote that's worth your time.
Mississauga pricing mirrors Toronto - same labour market, same paint suppliers, same travel time from our base in the west end. Here's what to expect room by room.
| Room | Low | Mid | High |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bedroom | $300 | $450 | $600 |
| Living / Dining Room | $500 | $700 | $900 |
| Kitchen | $400 | $550 | $700 |
| Bathroom | $250 | $375 | $500 |
| Basement | $600 | $900 | $1,200 |
| Full 3-Bed Home (interior) | $4,000 | $5,500 | $7,000 |
All prices include labour, two coats of finish paint, prep work, and clean-up. Ceilings and trim are separate add-ons.

Mississauga's housing stock spans four decades of construction - and each era has its quirks when it comes to painting.
These homes were built with drywall but often had textured finishes - stippled ceilings, orange peel walls - that are now dated. A lot of Mississauga homeowners in this era are asking us to smooth out those textures before painting. That's a separate plaster/skim coat job that adds $300-$700 per room, but the result is a clean, modern wall surface that holds paint beautifully.
Walls in these homes also tend to have more patching history - old nail holes, dents from furniture, previous DIY repairs. We budget 30-60 extra minutes per room for prep in older Cooksville and Malton homes versus a newer build.
These are the most common homes we paint in Mississauga. Standard 8-foot ceilings, builder-grade drywall, and typically a beige-on-beige colour scheme left over from the original builder. They paint cleanly and efficiently. A full interior repaint of a 3-bedroom home in Erin Mills runs 3-4 days for two painters.
The main consideration: if you're going from a warm beige to a true white or a cool grey, you'll need a primer coat first - otherwise the undertones bleed through and you end up with a muddy finish after two coats.
The Square One area has seen enormous condo development over the past decade - towers along Hurontario, City Centre Drive, and around Living Arts Centre. Painting a condo suite here is its own process.
You'll need to book the elevator with your property manager, typically in a 2-4 hour window. We bring floor runners and elevator pads as standard. Most buildings in this area require low-VOC paint - both Benjamin Moore Natura and Sherwin-Williams Harmony qualify. Suite sizes range from 500 sq ft studios to 1,200 sq ft two-bedrooms; painting costs run $800-$3,000 depending on size and scope.
Port Credit's older housing stock includes 1920s-1950s homes with original plaster walls, high ceilings, and intricate trim work. These are premium paint jobs - more prep, more precision cutting-in around original woodwork, and often a primer coat over plaster that's never been painted before or was painted with oil-based products decades ago. Budget $500-$800 per room in Port Credit heritage homes versus the standard pricing above.
We follow the same process on every job - whether it's a single bedroom in a Meadowvale townhouse or a full 4-bedroom repaint in a Lorne Park estate.
We visit the property (or you can send us photos and measurements) and provide a written, itemized quote specifying the paint brand, product, number of coats, and warranty. No surprises on invoice day.
Not sure what colour to paint? We offer colour consultation as part of the quoting process. We bring fan decks and can recommend based on the room's light, size, and your existing furnishings.
We move and protect furniture, fill all holes and cracks, sand rough areas, tape edges, and lay drop cloths. We buy the paint from our local supplier the morning of the job - fresh, correct tint, correct sheen.
First coat goes on, we let it dry fully (2-4 hours depending on the product), then second coat. Between coats we check for holidays - thin spots, drips, missed areas - and fix them before the second coat goes down.
Tape and drop cloths removed, furniture back in place, floors wiped down. We walk through the finished room with you before we pack up - any touch-ups get done on the spot.
We use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams exclusively. No contractor-grade store brands, no off-the-shelf bargain products. Here's what we typically specify for Mississauga homes:
Both brands have dealers in Mississauga - on Burnhamthorpe, Hurontario, and near Square One. We purchase fresh tinted paint the morning of each job so you get consistent batch colour throughout.
In spring 2026 we completed a full interior repaint for a homeowner in Port Credit - a 1,400 sq ft end-unit townhouse preparing for sale. The home had original builder paint from 2001: dated beige throughout, scuffed hallways, and a dark feature wall in the living room that had been trendy in 2008 and needed to go.
The living room dark wall required a primer coat before we could get Chantilly Lace (a bright white) to cover cleanly. Everything else was two-coat finish direct. The homeowner listed the property 10 days after we finished - and sold over asking. Fresh paint is one of the highest-ROI pre-sale improvements you can make.

Interior painting in Mississauga costs the same as Toronto: $300-$600 for a bedroom, $500-$900 for a living room, and $600-$1,200 for a basement. A full-home interior repaint of a 3-bedroom detached home typically runs $4,000-$7,000 depending on prep work and paint choice.
Yes. We paint condos throughout the Square One area, including towers along Hurontario and City Centre Drive. Condo painting requires elevator booking with building management and low-VOC paints - both are standard parts of our process. We coordinate directly with your property manager.
We use Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams exclusively. For most Mississauga interior projects we recommend Benjamin Moore Aura (bedrooms, living rooms) or Regal Select (mid-range option). Both are available at local Mississauga dealers on Burnhamthorpe and Hurontario.
